FMP - Reality of Fear
These are the end results of my FMP, which I titled "Reality of Fear". I looked at different aspects of fear and how they form in our conscious and subconscious. After looking at several movie, novel and art references, I dwelled into the history and primal perception of what makes us scared. I came across the character Lilith, a character often associated with being in the bible.
I wanted to convey the two very strong asspects of her, the two sides of which she is percieved as. My left canvas was to represent the femininity, the strong female symbol that many see her as. The right however was to convey the succubus persona and the sinister relation to a dominant sexual being.
Both canvas's are A0 size done with acrylic. The left one (femininity) has been sold. The right one (succubus) is still up for sale. Contact if interested.

Harley Quinn Comic Style
Harley Quinn cutout filtered and original retro edited. I used a royalty free shutter stock image of a 50's pin up looking model, who had a beautiful wicked smile as it was. Immediately this conjured the idea of Harley Quinn and her large, manic smile.
So then I wanted to create a Harley Quinn adaptation. I liquify-ed the facial features to transform her more into the insane persona. Broaden the mouth and smile, enlarge the eyes and arch the brows were my aim. I gave her new hair, and lower half, along with a sharp ended mallet that Harley Quinn is mostly associated with. The cutout version I find works most affective.
Poison Ivy
Sketch of poison ivy then edited. I have always loved Poison Ivy and I thought to sketch her out in biro, inspired by the cover of the graphic novel "Girl with a Dragon Tattoo". I changed the cigrette to a rose and had the hair be longer, with ivy entwining around her body to show the element of plant life that comes with poison ivy.
